CALL FOR SUBMISSION


AK KONCEPTS in conjunction with UPWRITE NIGERIA is calling for submission of all kinds of literary works from;

Poems
Stories (long/short)
Articles 
Ranticles
Photo poetry 
Duet
Book reviews
Essays etc

General Guidelines

Send all submissions to upwritenigeria@gmail.com with the subject line “Category Submission/ Name” (i.e. “Poetry Submission/ Greene Rose”). In the email body, please include a short, third-person bio along with your attached submission file. We accept submissions from anyone from anywhere in the world. All submission must in Word document (.doc, docx) format only and align to the left margin.
All rights revert back to the author upon publication; however, we ask that you credit Upwrite Mag as the place where your work first appeared. We do not accept previously published work. We are unable to accept simultaneous submissions but we would respond within two weeks. Multiple Submissions are welcome (1 poem, 1 prose, 1 essay etc). We unfortunately cannot pay contributors. Not adhering to guideline would lead to automatic rejection.


CATEGORY  GUIDELINES

Poetry: Send 1 poem in Word document (.doc, docx) format only. Please title your documents with “TITLE by NAME” (“Blooming by Greene Rose”). (20 lines max)

Prose: Send 1 prose piece in Word document (.doc, docx) format only. Fiction, creative nonfiction, flash fiction, etc. Please title your documents with “TITLE by NAME” (“Blooming by Greene Rose”) (1500 words max)

Essay: Send 1 essay piece in Word document (.doc, docx) format only. Critical essays, Personal essay. Please title your documents with “TITLE by NAME” (“Blooming by Greene Rose”) (1500 words max)
